My Review:
I love Maybelline products and none of the Maybelline products which I have bought until now have let me down. That’s the reason I bought the Maybelline mascara. I was sure Maybelline wouldn’t let me down this time too and it didn’t. Yess!
The colossal mascara comes in a catchy yellow tube packaging and has 2 variants- the washable one and the waterproof one. It has a thick, dense wand which is characteristic of volumizing mascaras. The bristles are soft and neatly arranged along the length of the wand. Because of the thick wand of the colossal volum mascara, one needs to be careful while coating the inner lashes and lower lashes.
The mascara formula is slightly on the drier side which is good because it doesn’t give wet smudges on the skin but it has its downside. It does not clump. Though if you want to apply more than 1 coat, apply the 2nd coat before the first one dries. I normally apply 2 coats.The pigmentation of this is great. It is jet black. The formula of maybelline colossal express mascara sets pretty fast so you don’t have to wait around for it to dry. It gives a boost of volume and length to the lashes which I love. And one of the best things about this mascara is that it doesn’t make the lashes stiff or weight them down.

Conclusion: This mascara from Maybelline adds good length and volume to the lashes without clumping. The formula is slightly dry and the wand can be a little too thick for the smaller inner/lower lashes but even with these drawbacks, I think it’s a really good budget volumizing mascara. If you like dramatic lashes, do give this a try.
