I am back with another set of lipstick reviews and swatches from the newly launched Loreal Pure Reds lipsticks. I talked of Pure Amaranthe and Pure Vermeil last week, today I’m here with Pure Garnet, Pure Brick and Pure Fire. Also I’m listing down a MAC dupe. Let me know which one you liked the most. L’Oreal Paris Pure Fire Lipstick Review: Li Bing Bing

Pure Fire is a flaming orange shade with yellow tones. Looks a little neonish on my medium Indian skin tone. Its a nice blend of orange and yellow but not exactly tangerine. I can see it working for olive Indian skin tones. Not a personal favourite but if you are into such shades then do check this out as the quality is quite good.

L’Oreal Paris Pure Brick Lipstick Review: Aishwarya Rai Bachhan

Pure Brick is a orange red based brown shade. Very safe and subtle if you are not into bright shades. And the most office appropriate shade from the entire Pure Reds Star Collection lipstick range. This one is picked by Aishwarya Rai Bachhan.

L’Oreal Paris Pure Garnet Lipstick Review and Dupe: Sonam Kapoor

Pure Garnet is a deep wine shade which works on all Indian skin tones from fair to dark. This is the perfect winter shade when you want deep reds and maroons on your lips. This one is picked by Sonam Kapoor and one of my favourite lipsticks from the Star Collection lipstick range from L’Oreal Paris. Some people say I look like a bad girl in it..haha I’m not complaining! I pair it with my black outfits mostly. It leaves behind a very rich stain on lips which stays all day. I have found the perfect dupe of Pure Garnet of this shade.

Dupe Comparison: L’Oreal Paris Pure Garnet vs MAC Diva

I have been noticing that L’Oreal Paris is coming up with a lot of MAC dupes. And since the quality is similar and the price is almost half of MAC so I totally recommend you get L’oreal lipsticks instead of MAC lipsticks. MAC Diva is very very similar to Pure Garnet and I couldn’t find any difference bot in terms of colour and texture. If you have Diva then you don’t need Pure Garnet and if you don’t have either of them then go get Garnet.
