Bobbi brown launched the new smokey eye range in India recently which included smokey eye kajal liner in 6 different shades and smokey eye mascara which I will review and swatch today. Now I have a sample of this mascara which can be used 10 times. I am loving this mascara, infact it has become my favorite. It gives fuller and dramatic lashes in just 2 coats. One of the best mascaras ever! I will show you the before after photos to show what I really mean by this.

Bobbi Brown Claims: Get thicker, fuller, bolder lashes in a single super-saturated stroke. The secret? This kohl-pigmented mascara delivers high drama thanks to its ability to build volume lash by lash. A thicker brush base evenly combs through eyelashes from roots to ends, while a tapered tip grabs those small, hard-to-reach lashes. The result is dramatically dark, stretched-out lashes in an instant-the perfect complement to a smokey eye look.

So does it fulfill the claims? Yes! Yes it does. Read on my review to know how.

Packaging: The Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye mascara comes in a silver colored tube with a classic spiral mascara wand. It is simple and elegant. The wand lengthens, curls, separates lashes and adds volume and intense drama to the lashes to complete that perfect smokey look.

Texture and pigmentation: The texture of the mascara is thick and rich and very smooth to work with. The mascara is insanely pigmented and is the blackest black. The wand picks up enough product to coat both the eyes and get those amazing fuller and thicker and longer lashes. The mascara never clumps on my lashes and separates each lash. The only problem with the mascara is that it is not water proof..just water resistant (sob story)

Staying power: The staying power is truly amazing. I never use an eye lash curler with this mascara and it still holds the curl for like 12-14 hours. That’s the longest I’ve worn this mascara and there was no flakiness or droopiness and my eyelashes looked as beautiful in the evening as they looked in the morning when it was freshly applied. The swatches were taken after 7-8 hours of application and you can see how fresh it looks.

When to use the Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara: When you are going out with him and want to flirt and be all bashful and expressive but mysterious and sexy too.

This mascara gives an intense definition to my lashes and I love it to the core. I got a BOOM and a WHOA with the first stoke on my lashes. It looks as if I’m wearing artificial lashes when I layer it on. Bobbi brown smokey eye mascara is perfection!

Do I recommend? Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara is brilliant. Yes! Yes! Yes buy it! And please someone motivate me to save more and buy the full size product. I really want it badly now.
