These days BB creams are a total rage, all the brands in India are coming up with new formulations and different types to suit each and every skin tone and type. BB is ideally a short form for a beauty balm or a blemish balm. They are known to be multi taskers; as they combine everything including your moisturizer, primer, sunscreen, and light to medium coverage foundation. They do not conceal any major flaws, but beautifully even out skin tone making you look polished without being too made-up. Because of their multi-tasking nature they are a boon for today’s working women, who are always on the run. I personally am a total BB cream junkie, and have tried almost each and every option I could find on the shelves of Indian Markets and I do have personal favorites as well which I will be sharing with you. If you still haven’t found an ideal BB cream for your skin type then here are certain options to choose from.
1. Maybelline Clear Glow Shine Free BB Stick
This one comes in a stick form and is a complete favorite of mine during summers. If you have oily skin and are looking for a good option that gives a light to medium coverage with a matte effect than this is it. Application is very quick and easy you just need to pat in a few strokes and you are done. The only problem is the shade selection there only 2 shades, but if you find your shade match then go for it. Price: Rs 250.
2. Garnier All in one Miracle Perfector BB Cream
This one is great budget option for dry skin beauties and for that glow we all love on our skin it beautifully evens out skin tone. People with normal to oily skin can use it during winters easily. It comes in a single shade but the shade suits mostly all skin tones. Price: Rs 99.
3. Ponds White Beauty BB + Fairness Cream
Ponds one instantly brightens up the skin and has quite good coverage to conceal minor flaws. It also has SPF 30 pa +++ which is great. It is suitable for all skin types including oily skin, and also stays on skin for a good 6-7 hours. It is available in a single shade which will suit light to medium skin tones. Price: Rs 125.
4. Deborah Milano 5 in 1 BB Cream
This is another great option which provides good coverage with a matte finish. It comes in whopping 6 shades to choose from, so you will surely find a good match for yourself. Price: Rs 590.
5. MAC Prep + Prime Beauty Balm SPF 35
It recently launched in India; I just tried a sample and instantly fell in love with it. It has everything an ideal BB cream should have and comes in variety of shades with high SPF; the only problem is the price. It is priced at Rs 2100 in India.
6. Maybelline Clear Glow BB Cream
This one is very different from the stick version. It is a great option for normal to dry skin, provides low coverage and is available in three shades to choose from. Price: Rs 199.
7. Colorbar Perfect Match Beauty Balm
Colorbar one is the longest wearing in my opinion even on oily skin and humid weather, and evens out skin tone giving a good brightening effect. It is not a budget option but definitely a great one to consider. Price: Rs 550.
8. L’oreal Paris True Match Skin Idealizing BB Cream
This one has a beautiful velevtte finish and therefore suitable for all skin types. It adapts to your skin tone very well looking very natural and is available in 3 shades. Price: Rs 550.
9. Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream
Now this one is known to be the original Korean BB cream, and is undoubtedly one of the best. It comes in 5 shades, has SPF 42 and does everything that a bb cream needs to do. Price: Around Rs 1700.
10. Clinique Age Defense BB Cream with SPF 30
It comes with many benefits like anti-oxidants which also repairs skin. It provide quite good amount of coverage and blends easily and also has a SPF of 30 being suitable for normal to oily skin, but the price is definitely on the higher side, but a must try. Price: Rs 1900.
