Priyanka Chopra walked the ramp as the show-stopper for Manish Malhotra at 7th annual Caring with Style Fashion Show in association with The Cancer Patients Aid Association hosted by Pidilite Industries Ltd at Lalit Hotel in Mumbai recently.

Do I even need to say it? She looks ethereal…and so does the outfit. Normally, I’m not one to rave about anarkalis but the suit is simply breath taking. The colour, the design, the work, the hem, the dupatta…I love it all.

Priyanka’s makeup is good too (for a change…and a welcome one at that).

But whats up with the matte foundation? Anyhoo to copy the look wear your favourite foundation. I can’t see much of the eyes but the are heavily smoked. Apply a wash of neutral beige shadow all over the lid and define the crease with a matte brown eyeshadow. Any basic brown will do. Now take a black eyeliner like Maybelline Gel Liner and apply a thick layer on your upper lash line. Keep the line thin in the beginning and start widening the line as you go out. Now take any black kohl and apply at your lower lash line. Now take a matte black eye shadow like Nyx eyeshadow in Black and lightly smudge your kohl outwards. The eye shadow will take away all the sweat and make sure your kohl is set for next few hours. Now highlight the inner corners of eyes and the brow bone with a shimmering beige eye shadow. Add some falsies, curl your lashes and apply two coats of mascara.
Now for the cheeks pick an apricot shade and apply to the apples. Take a powder highlighter and highlight the bridge of your nose and the area of your cheeks that’s below your eyes.
Lastly apply a nude lipstick which goes with your complexion. In some pictures I see some shimmer on the lips so you can wear a clear shimmery lip gloss just in the center of both the lips for the pout-y effect!

This time she wore a green Bebe ruffled zip front dress for the Barfi trailer launch. Now who wears a dress with zipper in front? And side pockets? Epic fail. Also the nude pumps look too boring. Play with colours Priyanka! How about sunny yellow pumps with the dress?

And the makeup! She is a celebrity…girls look upto her and here she is sporting lighter foundation, signature lips (read boring brown which she wears e.v.e.r.y.t.i.m.e). I’m not going into the breakdown since I don’t want any of you to copy this! Curls don’t suit her. Period.

I like Ranbir Kapoor, he is cute.

I feel PC still needs to learn a lot when it comes to dresses and gowns. I’ve seen some of her disastrous appearances in short dresses. But she knows her work when it comes to Indian traditional outfits be it suits or sarees. Obviously I don’t expect her to turn up in Anarkalis for movie launches but she should try more of Indian dresses until she gets her tastes right. What do you think?
